On the UDRP (Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy):
The UDRP is the consistent policy of the international organization ICANN to resolve conflicts through online arbitration involving domain names. Only four centers accredited by ICANN resolution applying the UDRP, conflict and none of them are in Latin America. Hence the importance of the initiative of the ILCE, which seeks to replicate the experience of these centers, but so glocalized, generating an easily accessible center for addressing this kind of conflict in Latin America, tailored to the needs of the region.
In addition, this initiative is part of the Regional Programme Electronics resolution ILCE , which leads the development and implementation of flexible services aimed at meeting the needs of users and companies in the region regarding disputes arising in Trade and Electronic Business Online and Mobile and Digital Economy in the region.
