Mercosur Virtual School

The main objectives of the Virtual School of Mercosur are generating new skills, competencies and knowledge in the Mercosur countries, promote the reduction of asymmetries between the countries, assist in the formulation of common strategies in electronic commerce and Internet business, facilitate the development and use of the supporting infrastructure and support services for e-commerce and Internet business by business, professional and related entrepreneurs, among others.

The activities planned by the Virtual School are open to all stakeholders and include, on the one hand, information services as newsletters, events, media, library, self-diagnostic tools and consultative forums, and secondly, training products such as courses practical online specialized tutors, self-study courses, workshops, seminars, forums and other activities.

The institution responsible for the implementation of Agenda Digital Mercosur, the Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP) of Brazil, won the tender for the Virtual School to the consortium led by the Foundation CEDDET Distance Education Center for Economic and Technological Development , and consists of the headquarters of FUNIBER Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the American Institute of Commerce (ILCE) and the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife (CESAR) .
